What is AWANA?

"AWANA" is actually an acronym that stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. This mission of our AWANA program is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him - impressing His Word on their hearts in an atmosphere of fun that makes them want to come back for more!

AWANA Club Segments

Council Time:
During this segment the AWANA leaders teach a Bible lesson, clubbers sing and important announcements are made.

Handbook Time:
During this segment clubbers work in their individual handbook learning and reciting sections. Each handbook contains approximately 90 versed to support Bible truths.

Game Tims:
Game Time is the segment when clubbers are involved in fun games. The games encourage Christian sportsmanship, fellowship, cooperation, team spirit and friendship.
